Trifork Amsterdam is a project-based technology partner. We put together highly effective self-directed teams to design, build and run custom backend systems for our customers. Currently, we have a number of projects in the education, gaming and financial sectors, but really we work in any domain. It is the technical challenge we look for when selecting customers.
Our team-first approach means that you will not be shipped off to a customer to work on your own. You will be surrounded by no more than 50 colleagues from different cultures and backgrounds where everybody knows your name. A flat structure means there is no middle management keeping tabs on you, but leadership support is always there if you need it.
Within Trifork there are plenty of opportunities to learn new skills, to grow, to take initiative and to have your ideas realised.
Our developers’ expertise and the willingness to grow, is the main priority at Trifork. We live that value by being an active contributor to GOTO Amsterdam Conference, and by running GOTO Academy NL, which offers masterclasses all year round.
We also hold regular tech meetings where you can spend the afternoon catching up on some conference talks or tinkering with a technology that interests you.
We use modern, yet proven, open-source technologies in our projects. Think Spring Boot, Kotlin, Java, Go, Docker, MySQL, NoSQL, ELK stack, Humio and Kubernetes for example.
Our new projects often target the cloud, where we embrace a cloud-native approach of building and running applications including practices like DevOps and Continuous Delivery. This ensures your ideas are turned into working software running in production in the fastest and safest way possible.
But, this is not buzzword bingo! You are not expected to have experience with every technology up front (although of course that would be great too). At least 2-3 years working experience with Java/Kotlin and Spring, and the enthusiasm to pick up the rest, as required by your project(s), is what we look for.
Trifork is an equal opportunity employer, and we strive for an inclusive environment for people of all backgrounds, gender identities and ethnicities.
Applications will be read by humans, not keyword-matchers, so please be yourself.
