As a Senior System Architect at Trifork, you'll be at the helm of managing ground-breaking projects that deliver innovative digital health solutions. You'll collaborate with our Swiss clients, ensuring their visions are not only met but exceeded with creative and effective solutions.
What You Will Do
You will be significantly involved in the design and development of modern and highly available digital health solutions
You will lead technical teams and coordinate architecture development across different projects and value streams to ensure that the best technologies and practices are applied
You will make strategic decisions regarding technology selection and implementation to ensure our digital health solutions are scalable, secure, and future-proof
You work closely with interdisciplinary teams of developers, product managers, system and security specialists, and other stakeholders to ensure that the solutions meet the requirements of users and legislators
You establish and monitor quality standards and best practices of system architecture to ensure maximum efficiency and security in our projects
You design, implement and document end-to-end DevOps and infrastructure concepts with a high degree of automation and are responsible for their continuous development

You Will Bring With You:
You have outstanding analytical skills and can present technically complex issues to non-technical stakeholders in a way that is appropriate for the target group
You have proficient communication and collaboration skills and understand how to solve complex technical challenges elegantly and effectively
You have excellent knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and JVM-based microservices (Spring, Kafka)
You have a deep understanding of modern technologies and architectures, such as IAC, Service Mesh, Cloud Hyperscaler and security-critical systems (Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, Istio)
You actively worked on customer projects as part of an interdisciplinary team
You are willing to work in hybrid work mode, approx. 60% on-site in Zurich
You are fluent in German (native or bilingual) and business fluent in English (written and spoken)
Nice to have:
You have experience in the digital health sector, including common standards such as FHIR, EHR, XDS and SNOMED
You have already operated large, complex systems productively and know the challenges, especially when scaling critical system components
You have experience as a tech lead, preferably with hybrid and/or remote teams
You have already worked in public sector/government projects
